Please note that you must activate your account to receive XM’s account opening bonus (trading bonus) and start trading.

XM allows you to activate a real account without a My Number card

At XM, you can activate your account (verify your identity) and start real trading even without a My Number card. To activate your account, please prepare one of the following identification documents: a valid driver’s license, My Number card, or passport. Submit this along with a proof of current address issued within the last three months. Your real account will be activated after review by the relevant department. Once your account is verified, you will have full access to all of XM’s services.

Individuals without a real XM account

If you already have a real account with XM, you cannot open a new account as a separate primary account. However, XM allows you to hold up to eight accounts per person. If you wish to use multiple accounts, you can open an additional account by logging in to your Members Page or the XM smartphone app and completing the procedure. If you have already activated an account, opening an additional account takes only about one minute, and you can start trading immediately. Please note that investor accounts and strategy manager accounts for copy trading do not count toward XM’s maximum of eight accounts.

You can easily open a real XM account through the official XM mobile app, the “XM App (XM Smartphone App).” This all-in-one app lets you access nearly all the functions available on the XM Members Page, including account opening, deposits and withdrawals, various settings, and trading with indicators. Opening a real account is simple from the XM App login screen, and you can also upload the documents required for account activation directly through the app. Additionally, you can easily open extra accounts from the “My Account” page. XM operates under two financial licenses: the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA) and the Mauritius Financial Services Commission (FSC).     Open a live account

    After completing the “Email Address Verification” process, you will be automatically redirected to the XMTrading Members Page, and a real account will be opened. The account that is automatically created is an MT5 Standard account with Japanese Yen as the base currency and 1,000x leverage.

    XM will send an email with the subject “Welcome to XMTrading!” to your registered email address. This email contains the login information for your automatically opened MT5 account, so please ensure you can log in and access your trading account via MT5.

Your first XM account will be created automatically.

Providing investor information does not affect account opening.

The investor information you provide when verifying your XM profile (activating a real account) does not affect your eligibility to open an account. During profile verification, XM asks for details such as your investment intentions, occupation, source of income, total income, and total assets. Rest assured that account approval will not be denied based on this information. However, please note that you must meet the age and country of residence requirements to open a new XM account.

Please note that after opening a new XM trading account, you will not be able to use XM services until your account is activated. Opening a new account involves two steps: completing the registration form and verifying your email address. This process takes only about five minutes. Afterward, you must submit the required documents (proof of identity and proof of address) and receive approval from XM to activate your account. You will not be able to trade or receive the new account opening bonus (trading bonus) until your account is fully activated.

Please note that the deadline for receiving the account opening bonus is within 30 days of completing account registration. Reason 1

The email address you entered is incorrect.

XM will send an email with the subject “Email Address Verification” to the email address you provided during registration. If you do not receive the email, it may be because the address you entered is incorrect. After checking your spam folder, please re-register your account, ensuring that all information is entered correctly. Note that you cannot proceed with the XM account opening process until your email address has been verified.

Reason 2

You are attempting to register with multiple email addresses.

XM allows only one primary account per person. If you have previously registered with a different email address, you cannot open a new primary account. However, XM permits up to eight accounts per person, so you can open an additional account using your registered email address. Opening an additional account is quick and easy, taking only about one minute.

If you wish to open an account using a different email address than the one previously registered, XM allows you to update your email address. You can change your email via the XM Members Page, the XM app (XM Smartphone App), or by contacting XM via email.


Reason 3

XM Members Page is currently under maintenance.

During regular maintenance of the XM Members Page and XM Smartphone App, you will not be able to open an account. Please check the maintenance schedule in advance before proceeding with the account opening process.

Your account has been frozen due to prohibited activities or violations of the Terms of Use.
